Sue’s passion for horses began at a young age when she read and reread all of the Black Stallion books at the local library. Several years later, she experienced the enjoyment of a horse of her own, and fondly remembers the buckskin mare she owned and rode all over her hometown. As an adult, Sue has re-entered the horse world with her buckskin gelding, Booya, and has enjoyed showing, participating in parades, trail riding, and the friendships that have developed with these horse related endeavors. It was through this reemergence that Sue decided to dedicate her time and efforts in her business, Susan B. Designs, Ltd, incorporating her passion for horses with her love of interior design.

Sue enjoys working with interior decorating projects, and the uniqueness that each design project holds. With an eye for color, Sue appreciates the way a room can be enhanced or updated simply by changing the color palette within the space. Sue also utilizes her abilities in space planning to offer options for furniture placement, ensuring that each space is visually harmonious as well as functionally competent. She generously uses accessories to reflect the uniqueness of the home, and to express the personalities of the owners.

Sue holds an MBA and worked in business for fourteen years prior to attaining a degree in Interior Design. She is also certified in Interior Redesign, in which the client’s existing furniture and accessories are utilized in creating a new and fresh interior decorating scheme.
